An old homeless man is found lying in the gutter, dead from old age. They discover that he was once the World War II superhero called Flag-waver. Daniel Urich, a wealthy retired superhero, wants to make sure nothing like this happens to the currently active superheroes and finds a way to help them. But a threat from the past comes to the present and now this loosely gathered team of heroes must stand up to it. If you are a fan of the Silver Age or Bronze Age of comic books, then this is a novel for you.

Author Biography

Rick L. Phillips was born in Covington, Kentucky. He is an announcer and voice actor. While he remains active in broadcasting he turned to writing when he realized his passion was for storytelling. His first professional story was a short story titled "War Between Two Worlds" published in the book "It's That Time Again Volume 3". It was edited by the late, great writer and editor Jim Harmon. His next book that was published was a children's book called "Dinky the Elf". He is the author of the Joshua Adams mystery "Last Train to Murder", the superhero
book series "Project: Hero" and wrote short stories for and conceived the book "With Great Power". Currently he is working on a new still untitled stand alone mystery novel. His books are currently published under his own publishing imprint Dinky Publishing. He and his wife Violet live in Erlanger, Kentucky.
