With Great Power is at the Akron Comicon today but I am not.

It pains me to know that I can't be at the Akron Comicon today. However, it is also a good thing. My new job has me so tired at night this week that I doubt I could have made the 5 or 6 hour drive there. Wish I could be at the Akron Con. If... you go stop by the table in the Lobby to see Tyrone Tony Reed Jr. and get a copy each of With Great Power and S.O.L.A.D.:Soliders Soldiers of Light Against Darkness . Have a good day no matter where you are. Here is a link to the Akron Cons. site

My New Business Card

Don't Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
Whe he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Character Interview with Jordan Hall By Jon Pew Author of the forthcoming novel Twisted Souls

shutterstock_81569683Character's Name: Jordan Hall Part I: Let's Start at the Beginning... 1. What's your name? Jordan 2. Give me your full name...Jordan Hall 3. Do you have a nickname? If yes, what is it and how did you come to have it?. Nope, just Jordan 4. What species are you? (Human, werewolf, etc? Or are you an alien?) I know you have some special gifts that aren’t entirely human. I’m a human, and quite good looking from what I’m told. 5. Where/when were you born? Southern California. 6. Okay, you believe that you are good or bad or are those terms not definable? I’m all for Good, or the Light as we call it. Part II: Tell Us More About Yourself... 8. How would you describe your personality? I’m kinda happy go lucky with a habit of looking for trouble. 9. Would you say you're someone who can handle pressure? What’s a good example? I think I’m pretty good at pressure. Well at least I am now, I fight Shadows with Griffin, so what he does I do. 10. Do you get along with others? For the most part. For some reason, when I’m around people they all just get along and understand each other, it’s kinda weird. 11. Who are your main enemies, people you would like to see stopped from whatever they are doing? Oh, I hate pretty much every Dark Transition Man, but I’d have to say Wesley is my main enemy. 12. How about allies? Griffin is my biggest ally, but Isa and Emma, and the other angels from the light are on my side. 13. What is one things that you would like to see happen in the immediate future? World peaceMan I don’t know what is this Miss America? I’d like to finish my medical degree. Part III: Hypothetically... 14. Suppose that you could become any creature you know of. canstockphoto1155680 What would you pick, and why? I’d pick an Eagle. They are so majestic and strong. I’d also love to be able to fly. 15. One of your enemies in question 13 just complimented you. What is your response? Thanks, I guess. Then I’d blow his head off. 16. One of your friends in Question 14 just insulted you. What is your response? Refer to question 15. 17. If you could change anything about yourself... I think I have a short temper, I’d like to be a bit more patient. 18. Tell me about where you grew up… Typical beach community. I surfed, and had lots of fun in the sun. Part IV: Now We Get Personal 19. What're your parents like? They were never really around. I did what I had to do for myself. 20. Do you have any siblings? A brother and sister that I don’t see often. 21. What's your occupation? Do you like it? I’m a full time medical student, but it's hard to focus with everything going on with Griffin. T-Man trailer jordan pic22. Are you seeing/dating anyone? If only. 23. If not, did you ever think about getting engaged or married and to whom? Haven’t found the right guy yet. 24. Tell us your biggest secret. I’m not a very good swimmer. 25. Your worst fear? You don't have to answer this one if you don't want to. I’m really not afraid of anything except failing to help Griffin. 26. Tell us one thing you're the most proud of and why? I am proud I could change myself and become a better person. Drugs, prostitution and partying were not a very good life. Helping Griffin and the people of Las Vegas to change and become better people, that’s definitely worth while.

Iron Man 3

I saw Iron Man 3 today. I have to say it is perhaps the best of the series. Mainly because, minus Iron Man or Iron Patriot coming to the rescue, I could see this really happening. Ben Kingsley was perfectly cast for his part. The only thing I have against it was one scene where a child curses and Tony uses what I consider a curse word when talking about the boys absent father. I don't like cursing and I don't do it myself. I have made allowences for it in todays media but I still don't like it. I really hate it when a child does it. Other than that this was one fine film.
